MVBC exists to help people become followers of Christ. That is our mission. It's personal. It's local. It's global. Jesus said, "Go and make disciples of all nations...." (Matthew 28:19) "Go" means "as you are going" or "as you are doing what you do." That's personal. That's local. That's global. So, we support local ministries in Machias and the Down East area, we support missions in the United States, and we support missions in the world. Every year, our members have a chance to participate in short term missions trips. We have sent teams to Mexico, Ecuador, Nepal, and Arizona. It is the great commission. It is the great commandment. It is why we exist. For His Name and His Fame.
